Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers - FEIFA

The Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers FEIFA has appointed the Spectrum IFA Group as a founding member.  Spectrum is already a regulated IFA in the countries in Europe where it has offices and advisers, including France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.  Indeed, Spectrum is arguably the largest IFA in Europe providing advice to  the English speaking expat community.

FEIFA aims to maintainand raise these high standards.  It will only accept members after a vetting and due diligence process.  It´s members will have to undergo regular professional training to maintain membership.  The Federation will also provide technical and regulatory updates to it´s members to ensure that members stay current with their knowledge. FEIFA membership will therefore add an extra layer of comfort to expatriates being advised by member companies, whether it is on QROPS, inheritance tax or even simply financing for house purchase.

A new development from FEIFA will be using the combined strength of it´s membership to negiotate new investment products that are of particular use and benefit to the expat in Europe.  These products will be exclusive to FEIFA members and will allow clients of member companies to have a better choice, more options and more tailored solutions to their financial planning needs.
